Every Man and His Dog Vineyard is a small boutique vineyard located in the Coal River Valley on the gourmet food and wine trail. The guest accommodation at the vineyard, while part of the main house, is completely separate and has its own private entrance. It features a bedroom suite, with bathroom, lounge room, breakfast room. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, with comfort top mattress, crisp bed linen, hotel pillows, electric blanket and toiletries. We also provide a substantial continental breakfast, featuring homemade jams and conserves. Guests are welcome to roam the vineyard freely, and there is space available to park your car. We are looking forward to welcoming you as our guests! Your accommodation is self-contained and separate from our home so you can enjoy complete privacy if you wish. Zoodoo Zoo is a uniquely hands-on wildlife park located in Richmond, near Hobart Airport. Visitors are able to get up-close and personal with such a huge variety of friendly animals. Visitors can hand-feed the roaming kangaroos and wallabies in the large Australian native park. In this area there are also Tasmanian devils, quolls, gliders and many other native Australian animals. Zoodoo has an indoor animal nursery featuring the young animals of the park and free rides for the children. The Safari bus takes visitors on a tour of the property. Tours are run by the friendly staff and even friendlier range of animals from around the world. Tours run all day and is an experience that is often a highlight for most visitors. Zoodoo has Tasmania's largest range of exotic animals including a variety of monkey species, tigers, lions and many many more. Lion feeding and keeper's tours run daily at 11am and 2pm. Saddlers Court is a fine art gallery in Richmond, south-east Tasmania. Richmond is an historic Georgian Village, a 30-minute drive north-east of Hobart (27 km) and a 20-minute drive from the Hobart airport. Established since 1968, Saddlers Court showcases high quality Tasmanian paintings and craft. The gallery displays a range of work including ceramics, wood, glass, jewellery and metal, original paintings and prints. Work by more than 100 Tasmanian artists and craftspeople is shown here. Old Hobart Town Model Village

Old Hobart Town is Australia's only and Tasmania's original historical model village which accurately replicates in miniature the life and history of Hobart in 1820. Situated in the main street of Richmond (Tasmania's finest Georgian village), this attraction has been built from original plans (over three years) and set out in streets. As visitors walk the streets of old Hobart, the informative signage really captures interest and makes for a unique and fascinating tour. There are photos of today's scenes in Hobart within the model making comparisons easy, and there is a game for the children to play - it keeps adults amused as well. In all this incredible piece of art consists of over sixty replica model buildings, five to six hundred period figurines, convicts, gentlemen and even ladies of the night, over one hundred native myrtle bonsai trees and covers approximately two tennis courts. It encapsulates Sullivan's Cove, Hunter Island, the Hobart Rivulet and main city centre. Translations are available in Chinese, Japanese, French and German. Baileys Lane is just a five minutes' drive from Whitemark, Flinders Island's main centre, its off the Lady Barron Road and down a short lane. Set in a large grassed area, this north facing property reflects its 1950's origins. Decorated with an eclectic mix of contemporary art, and 1950's retro, and with sculptural works in the grounds, the property is set for a relaxing break. There are three bedrooms all with king or queen size beds with separate toilet shower and full bathroom including bath and second toilet. There is a separate lounge and large kitchen, living, dining area. It's full of light and space with lots of atmosphere, you can enjoy the morning sun and the sound of the magpies. There is a gas cooker, heaps of bench space, and the romance of a slow combustion stove. The house is fully equipped with all the usual things to make a holiday a great experience including a good coffee machine! A great place to entertain or just sit outside and take in the views of Mt Strzelecki.
